Jeneece Place is where Island families stay while their child is in hospital care in Victoria.
Jeneece Place
Jeneece Place is a home away from home run by the Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island. Families come from all over the Island so their child can be treated in Victoria, and they stay here — some for a few nights, some for much longer. Nobody has to choose between staying close to their child and finding somewhere they can afford to sleep.
We clean it. The same work we do in a client’s home, done the same way. We donate our time to make life a little easier for the families staying at Jeneece Place.
About the Foundation
The Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island has worked on behalf of Island children’s health for close to a hundred years. Its aim is a simple one: every child gets the care they need, wherever on the Island they live. Jeneece Place is one of the ways it does that.
We give money too
Cleaning is what we are best at, so it is what we give most of. We give money as well, and we turn up for the Foundation’s campaigns.
The first day
In November 2025 the whole team spent a day there, top to bottom — common areas, kitchen, playroom, movie room, laundry, bathrooms. We wrote about it here.
Squeakly is a residential cleaning company in Greater Victoria. If you would like the same standard in your own home, every week or every other week, that is what we do.
